A page in a rhodia top spiral bound dotgrid notebook. Written on the top left is Pen: Pilot Metropolitan Stub, Ink: Diamine Night Sky. On the right is written “It is the first law of friendship that it has to be cultivated. The second is to be indulgent when the first is neglected. -Voltaire.” In between the two sets of words is a jagged doodle of a horse. A line is drawn underneath the writing and doodle, beneath the line is are smear tests and drip tests for the ink.
