Joy to the World (Gnomevember Edition)

Joy to the world
The gnomes have come
And they will bring you tea

Let every hearth
Prepare them room
Let kettle and teapot sing
Let kettle and teapot sing
Let kettle, let kettle and teapot sing

Joy to the earth
The gnomes remain
Let their tales resound

While fields and floods
Rocks, hills, and plains
Stand witness to their tales
Stand witness to their tales
Stand witness, stand witness to their tales

No more shall we
Forget the joys
Brought by what we create

The gnomes they will
Remind us of
The love wrought by our hands
The love wrought by our minds
The love, the love wrought by our crafts

They bring the word
Of love and change
And that change can be good

Every ending
Brings a new beginning
And chances for new joy
And chances for new love
And chances, and chances for new joy

A little handknit gnome with a light blue body, a variegated grey cap, purple face and dotted bone nose almost seems to levitate above a net bag that once supported a cantaloupe. The bag dangles, loosely tied, to a frame draped with netting and yarn chains and the dead vines of the cantaloupe plant that once clambered the frame. A tag attached to a blue thread states that the gnome's name is Phedani SilverIsle of the WaterEssence.
